This release - eliminates a regression and errorlog.txt entry when providing first-time initialization for a TenTec Jupiter, Omni VII, Argonaut V, or Orion (tnx to Chris NJ5N) - restores 56000 as an available CAT port baud rate - correctly displays both VFO A and VFO B for a Yaesu FT890 (tnx to Mario YS1MAE) - doesn't generate errorlog.txt entries when receiving a QSY to SetFreqMode DDE directive with an invalid frequency - changes and extends the Secondary CAT Serial Port modes: *** renames "radio" to "Follow Primary" *** renames "transceiver control application" to "Lead Primary" *** adds a new "Follow and Lead Primary" mode; when selected, Commander, the primary radio and the radio or application connected to the Secondary CAT Port will track each other's frequency and mode (tnx to Jay W5JAY and Joe K2XX) - with the secondary CAT port configured to "Lead Primary" or "Follow and Lead Primary", enables an Icom transceiver with "CI-V transceive" enabled connected to the secondary CAT port to control the primary transceiver's frequency and mode (tnx to Claudio IK2YCW) - with the secondary CAT port configured to "Lead Primary" or "Follow and Lead Primary", enables a Kenwood, Elecraft, or FlexRadio transceiver connected to the secondary CAT port to control the primary transceiver's frequency and mode (tnx to Joe W4TV) - with the secondary CAT port configured to "Lead Primary" or "Follow and Lead Primary" in the Icom protocol, responds to controller IDs other than E0 (tnx to Jay W5JAY) - adds BobCAT to the secondary CAT port's protocol selector so that BobCAT works in all three Secondary CAT Port modes (tnx to Jay W5JAY) - updates the Configuration.htm and index.htm documentation files Notes: 1. with the Secondary CAT Port set to "Follow and Lead Primary", changing frequency or mode via Commander's Main window or via the primary radio will cause frequency or mode changes made from the radio or application connected to the Secondary CAT Port to be ignored for 1 second 2. with the Secondary CAT Port set to "Follow and Lead Primary", changing frequency or mode via the radio or application connected to the Secondary CAT Port will cause frequency or mode changes made from Commander's Main window or from the primary radio to be ignored for 1 second 3. with the Secondary CAT Port set to "Follow Primary", a tranceiver control application connected to the Secondary CAT Port can choose to follow Commander's frequency or mode based on information it receives in responses to the CAT commands it issues; the distinction between "Follow Primary" and "Follow and Lead Primary" is more meaningful when the device connected to the Secondary CAT Port is a radio, in which case it can't follow Commander's frequency and mode unless Commander explicitly keeps it up to date -- which happens in "Follow and Lead Primary" mode but not in "Lead Primary" mode. Commander 8.3.3 is available via the DXLab Launcher and via 73, Dave, AA6YQ
