This release - in the Main window's Log QSOs tab, prevents the Delete key from modifying date and time items when the Edit button is visible (tnx to Giuseppe IT9FGA) - in the Main window's Log QSOs tab, prevents the QSL_MSG, Satellite Name, Satellite Mode, and Meteor Shower items from being modified when the Edit button is visible (tnx to Renzo I6KZR) - provides QSL substitution commands for user-defined items (tnx to Nuno CT2IRY) - when "Add Needed" populates the QSL Queue for DXCC awards, first seeks QSOs whose band and mode are both needed before seeking QSOs whose band or mode are needed (tnx to Peter W2IRT) - increases the performance of the Duplicate Checking when importing QSOs (tnx to Rich W3ZJ) - adds a "Duplicate QSOs" filter to the "Advanced Sorts, Filters, and Modifiers" window - updates the FilterLog.htm, QSL.htm, and ViewEditLog.htm documentation files Clicking the Filter button in the new Duplicates panel in the lower-right corner of the "Advanced Filters, Sorts, and Modifiers" window will locate duplicate QSOs in the Log Page Display by 1. clearing the Select item of each QSO in the Log Page Display 2. checking each QSO in the Log Page Display to see whether any other QSO in the Log Page Display exactly matches its Callsign, Band, Mode, QSO Begin Date and Time (to the second), and setting the Select item of such duplicate QSOs to Y 3. displaying all QSOs whose Select item is set to Y During step 2, progress is shown in a "Checking for duplicate QSOs" panel to the left of the Duplicates panel, and checking can be terminated by clicking the Abort button. Note that step 3 will display QSOs whose Select item is set to Y that were not originally present in the Log Page Display when the duplicate QSO filter was invoked. The first time you perform an Import operation with duplicate checking enabled or employ the new Duplicate QSOs filter, DXKeeper's memory consumption will increase by approximately 4 mb; subsequent use of these functions will not further increase memory consumption. Users wishing to identify and then eradicate duplicates from their log should a. backup your log (Configuration window, Log tab, Backup button) b. on the Main window's "Log QSOs" tab, click the Filter panel's X button to remove all Log Page Display filtering c. in the "Advanced Filters, Sorts, and Modifiers" window's Duplicates panel, click the Filter button d. if you don't care about choosing which of a pair of identical QSOs to delete, then on the Main window's "Log QSOs" tab, depress the CTRL key while clicking the Delete button e. if you'd prefer to select which of a pair of identical QSOs to delete, possibly moving information (e.g. from Name or Address items) from one to the other beforehand, then e.1 on the Main window's "Log QSOs" tab, click the Filter panel's X button to remove all Log Page Display filtering and set the Sort panel to UTC e.2 if the APP_DXKEEPER_SELECT item is not visible in the Log Page Display, add a column for this item using the table in the "Log Page Display" panel on the Configuration window's Log tab e.3 review the QSOs in the Log Page Display, setting or clearing the Select items of those QSOs you do or don't wish to have deleted; double-clicking a QSO to see all QSOs with that same callsign can be helpful when performing this review. e.4 on the Main window's "Log QSOs" tab, click the Filter panel's Sel button; verify that the QSOs now visible in the Log Page Display are the ones you wish to delete. e.5 on the Main window's "Log QSOs" tab, depress the CTRL key while clicking the Delete button I will update to reflect this new procedure.
