If you are using Windows Defender anti-malware, direct it to update its definitions from

before you install SpotCollector 9.1.0


This release 

- prevents an errorlog.txt entry in SpotDatabaseModule.UpdateProgress, State = 79: Invalid use of Null

- warns the user if the "Log file reference for award progress" panel does not select a log file (tnx to Rick KK5RX)

- interoperates with WSJT-X with the network service base port set to a value other than 52000 (tnx to Bruce K5WBM)

- provides a "Highlight current hour" option for Propagation window's "Band vs. Time" view (tnx to Russ KR6W)

- provides an <XCVRFREQ> SQL substitution command that is replaced by the transceiver's current frequency in kilohertz (tnx Dave NR1DX)

- updates the ConfigurationGeneral.htm, DXClusterInteraction.htm, SourceConnection.htm, and SpotDatabase.htm documentation files



Notes:

1. Update your firewall and anti-malware applications to consider the new versions of SpotCollector.exe and SC_WSJTX.exe to be "safe" 

   a.  0/13 Jotti scanners detected malware in SpotCollector.exe

   b.  0/68 VirusTotal scanners detected malware in SpotCollector.exe

   c.  0/13 Jotti scanners detected malware in SC_WSJTX.exe

   d.  2/68 VirusTotal scanners detected malware in SC_WSJTX.exe

   e. SpotCollector.exe and SC_WSJTX.exe have  been submitted to "Microsoft Security Intelligence" and found free of malware.
