This release - generates an error message rather than an errorlog.txt entry if the proposed name of a new workspace contains a drive specifier - provides the option to specify the browser used to display online documentation (tnx to Gil W0MN) - interprets the CTRL key being depressed when the Terminate button is clicked to mean "shut down applications whether or not their Enab box is checked in the Config window" - provides the ability to terminate non-DXLab applications for which a Main Window Caption has been specified (tnx to Jerry K3BZ, Joe W4TV, Gil W0MN, and Ricardo DM2RG) - updates the ControllingApplications.htm, Configuration.htm, and index.htm online documentation files Our testing has revealed that there are two ways to determine a non-DXLab application's Main Window Caption: by looking in the Main Window's Title Bar, and by running Windows Task Manager and selecting its Applications tab. Curiously, these two source may not produce identical results, and in some cases either result will allow the Launcher to termnate the application. If one caption doesn't work, try the other. To specify a non-DXLab application's Main Window Caption, open the Launcher's Config window and click the new "Show Captions" button in the "Other Applications" panel. The "Program Path" textboxes will be replaced by "Main Window Caption" textboxes. Note that the specified caption must exactly match the caption found in the application's Main Window or in the Windows Task Manager, including upper/lower case, spaces, and punctuation; otherwise, the application will not be shut down when you click the Terminate button. To make the "Program Path" textboxes visible, click the new "Show Paths" button in the "Other Applications" panel. DXLabLauncher 1.3.3 is available via http://www.qsl.net/dxlab/download.htm or via this reflector's Files area.
