This release - when determining location via callsign analysis, ignores /KT suffixes (tnx to Peter N5UWY) - updates the position of the magnetic pole used when computing the location of the auroral ovals and the current path's maximum geomagnetic latitude - provides a "My" filter that when enabled limits the display of spots and QSOs on the world map to those whose "spotting station" matches the "station callsign" specified on QTH panel of DXView's Configuration window's General tab; when matching, a hyphen in the "spotting station" and characters that follow are ignored (tnx to Björn SM7IUN) - updates the Configuration.htm and Operation.htm documentation files Notes: 1. The new "My" filter checkbox is accessible on the left side of the Selection panel on the Configuration window's "Plot Settings" tab 1.a A "My" filter checkbox is also available in the Plot panel's DX sub-panel in the lower-right corner of DXView's "World Map" window 1.b The "My" filter checkboxes are unchecked at DXView startup 1.c The purpose of the "My" filter is to see only spots and QSOs reported by you and your skimmers, visualizing actual propagation on the selected band(s). When using WSJT-X as a spot source in SpotCollector, I find the "My" filter to be most effective when the "Xcxr band only" box is checked in the "Band Filter" panel on the "Plot Settings" tab of DXView's Configuration window. 1.d The "My" filter works with "DX Atlas" and "Google Earth", as well as with DXView's built-in World Map 1.e Here's a screenshot illustrating the effect of the "My" filter on 20m: 2. Update your firewall and anti-malware applications to consider this new version of DXView to be "safe" 3. See 4. If this upgrade doesn't work correctly, see the "After an Upgrade" section of 5.
