Before installing or upgrading to DXView 5.0.7, review the Notes below.

This version

- when upgrading the RDA database, doesn't close the GridDXCC database
 
- when upgrading DXCC, IOTA, Translation, GridDXCC, or RDA databases, inserts a space between the saved filename and its version number
 
- supports the downloading and exploitation of a POTA database with one entry per park: if the new "Query POTA Database" box is checked on the Configuration window's General tab, provides a POTA textbox on the Main window into which typing a POTA code and striking the Enter key or receiving an "Update with POTA tag" directive from another application queries the POTA database and updates the Main window to display the selected park's DXCC entity, latitude, longitude, grid square, distance, short and long path headings, CQ zone, ITU zone, time zone, location, and park name - and selects the park's location on the world map 
 
- supports the downloading and exploitation of a SOTA database with one entry per summit: if the new "Query SOTA Database" box is checked on the Configuration window's General tab, provides a SOTA textbox on the Main window into which typing a SOTA code and striking the Enter key or receiving an "Update with SOTA tag" directive from another application queries the SOTA database and updates the Main window to display the selected summit's DXCC entity, latitude, longitude, grid square, distance, short and long path headings, CQ zone, ITU zone, time zone, location and park name - and selects the summit's location on the world map
 
- extends the Override mechanism by adding a POTA and SOTA field to each Override, by adding the ability to export Overrides to a comma-delimited file, and by adding the ability to import Overrides from a comma-delimited file

- accepts an updated directive from the next version of SpotCollector (10.1.2 or later) that when you click on a Spot Database Entry conveys that Entry's POTA and SOTA tags to DXView

- on the Configuration window's General tab, adds a Databases panel that contains

--- the "Query Special Callsign Database" checkbox, whose behavior has been modified to not expand the height of the Main window in order to display a "Special Callsign Tags" panel

--- a new "Display Special Callsign tags" checkbox that independently governs the presence of the Special Callsign Tags" panel on the Main window

--- the "Query IOTA database" checkbox, which must now be enabled for the "Upgrade All" function on the Configuration window's Databases tab to upgrade the IOTA database when a new version is available

--- the new "Query POTA database" checkbox described above, which must be enabled for the "Upgrade All" function on the Configuration window's Databases tab to upgrade the POTA database when a new version is available

--- the new "Query SOTA database" checkbox described above, which must be enabled for the "Upgrade All" function on the Configuration window's Databases tab to upgrade the SOTA database when a new version is available

- updates the Configuration.htm and Operations.htm documentation files
