Microsoft has stopped supporting the Internet Explorer web browser around which Pathfinder is constructed. As a result, Pathfinder cannot fully display web pages that exploit extensions to HTML - like those now used by Google maps. 

This release enables you to overcome this limitation by configuring Pathfinder to display web pages on a web browser of your choice instead of on its built-in instance of Internet Explorer.

When configured to use an external web browser, 

-	Pathfinder’s Main window is significantly reduced in height

-	Pathfinder retains the ability to support the free “QRZ.com via Pathfinder” callbook option in DXKeeper.

This release also informs you if QRZ login fails due to an unknown username or incorrect password.

1. Update your firewall and anti-malware applications to consider this new version of Pathfinder to be "safe" 

   Virus total: 1 of 71 engines detected malware (Trojan.Malware.300983.susgen is almost always a false positive flagged by the MaxSecure engine on VirusTotal. The "susgen" (Suspicious Generation) suffix indicates heuristic analysis, commonly triggering on unsigned, custom, or open-source software that lacks formal developer certification.)
