Obtaining WPX Credit

To obtain WAZ credit for CQ zone, you must submit a QSL card, an eQSL authenticity-guaranteed confirmation, or an LotW confirmation that specifies your QSO partner's callsign.

Generating Outgoing QSLs whose Confirmation would Advance your WPX Award Progress

To populate the QSL Queue with QSOs whose confirmation is needed for WPX, check the Award panel's WPX box in the QSL Configuration window's Add Needed panel and then click the Add Needed button on the Main window's QSL tab.

Using the WPX Verified item to capture WPX status

Each QSO's WPX Verified item is accessible via the QSL panel in the Main window's Log QSOs tab. The choices provided by this item are

Checking Realtime Award Progress

  1. On the Main window's Log QSOs tab, click the RAT button to display DXKeeper's Realtime Award Tracking window

  2. In the Realtime Award Tracking window, select the WPX tab

The Award Progress panel on the WPX tab provides a scrollable table with a row for each prefix worked and a column for each award category: Mixed, SSB, CW, Digital, and the bands from 160m to 6m. The code in each table cell indicates your award progress for its prefix and award category:

The Award Progress Filter panel lets you home in on specific prefixes. If you click this pane's All button, it displays a row for each of the prefix worked. If you wish to only see confirmed prefixes, then uncheck the Unworked and Requested boxes, and check the Confirmed and Verified boxes. Set the Band selector to 80M, and you'll see only rows for prefixes confirmed on 80m. At any time, you can click the All button to restore the table to showing rows for all prefixes worked.

The Award Progress panel is live: double-clicking a cell will filter the Log Page Display to show all QSOs with the row's prefix and the column's band or mode.

Generating Progress Reports

To display an HTML summary of your WPX progress, click the Summary button on the CQ WPX panel on the Main window's Check Progress tab.

To generate a printable report showing progress towards each of the WPX awards you're pursuing, click the Progress button on the CQ WPX panel on the Main window's Check Progress tab.

These progress reports consider all QSOs in the Log Page Display. Thus you can optionally filter the Log Page Display before generating the progress report to answer questions like "what prefixes have I worked while the solar flux index was below 100?".
