Upgrading to DXCC Database version 2.2.2
DXCC Database version 2.2.2 changes several entity prefixes used by DXLab applications:
- Entity - old entity prefix - new entity prefix - Bosnia-Hercegovina - T9 - E7 - Malyj Vysotski Is - 4J1 - R1M - Franz Jozef Is. - 4K2 - R1F - Palau - KC6 - T8 - Kazakstan - UL - UN - Ukraine - UR - UT - Pitcairn - VR6 - VP6 - Hong Kong - VS6 - VR - North Cook Islands - ZK1-N - E5-N - South Cook Islands - ZK1-S - E5-S 
These instructions will help you
- install DXCC Database version 2.2.2
- install updated country maps for DXView (required due to the changed entity prefixes)
- install an updated DXCC file with the above entity prefix changes for WinWarbler 
- install updated Joe DX audio announcements for SpotCollector (required due to the changed entity prefixes) 
- update your Pathfinder search library (required due to the changed entity prefixes)
- update your log in DXKeeper to use the new entity prefixes
- update your Spot Database in SpotCollector to use the new entity prefixes 
Step-by-step instructions
- Install DXCC Database version 2.2.2 - if you have DXView, SpotCollector, and/or DXKeeper running, terminate them 
- download and run the zip archive from http://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxview/DXCC.exe 
- if you have DXView installed, unzip the contents of this zip archive into DXView's Databases folder - DXKeeper and SpotCollector will automatically reference the new version from this one location 
- note that the Unzip to Folder box is set to c:\program files\dxlab suite\dxview\databases - if your DXView is installed in a location other than c:\program files\dxlab suite\dxview, appropriately modify this pathname before clicking the Unzip button 
 
- if you don't have DXView installed, unzip the contents of this zip archive into DXKeeper's Databases folder (if DXKeeper is installed) and into SpotCollector's Databases folder (if SpotCollector is installed) - modify the Unzip to Folder box to the appropriate pathname for DXKeeper and/or SpotCollector before clicking the Unzip button 
 
 
- Install updated country maps for DXView - download and run the zip archive from http://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxview/NewCountryMaps.exe 
- unzip the contents of this zip archive into DXView's Maps folder - note that the Unzip to Folder box is set to c:\program files\dxlab suite\dxview\maps - if your DXView is installed in a location other than c:\program files\dxlab suite\dxview, appropriately modify this pathname before clicking the Unzip button 
 
 
- Install an updated DXCC file for WinWarbler (skip if you don't use WinWarbler) - terminate WinWarbler if its running 
- download and run the zip archive from http://www.dxlabsuite.com/winwarbler/WinWarblerDXCClist.exe 
- unzip the contents of this zip archive into WinWarbler's Databases folder - note that the Unzip to Folder box is set to c:\program files\dxlab suite\winwarbler\databases - if your WinWarbler is installed in a location other than c:\program files\dxlab suite\winwarbler, appropriately modify this pathname before clicking the Unzip button 
 
 
- Install updated Joe DX audio announcements for SpotCollector (skip if you don't use SpotCollector) - terminate SpotCollector if its running 
- download and run the zip archive from http://www.dxlabsuite.com/spotcollector/Announcements_2007_08_13.exe 
- unzip the contents of this zip archive into SpotCollector's Sounds folder - note that the Unzip to Folder box is set to c:\program files\dxlab suite\spotcollector\sounds - if your SpotCollector is installed in a location other than c:\program files\dxlab suite\spotcollector, appropriately modify this pathname before clicking the Unzip button 
 
 
- Update your Pathfinder search library (skip if you don't use Pathfinder) - run Pathfinder
- click the Update button in the upper-left corner of its Main window 
- if you are running a version of Pathfinder earlier than 4.4.5, terminate and restart it to gain access to the updated searches
 
- Update your log in DXKeeper to use the new entity prefixes (skip if you don't use DXKeeper) - run DXKeeper
- open the Config window's Log tab, and click the Log panel's Backup button 
- open the Main window's Check Progress tab, and click the Recomp button - DXKeeper will display a report showing all changes made to QSOs in your log
 
- if you have more than one Log file, then repeat steps 6b and 6c after opening each Log file 
 
- Update your Spot Database in SpotCollector to use the new entity prefixes (skip if you don't use SpotCollector) - run SpotCollector 
- open the Config window's Spot Database tab and click the Recomp button in the Log file referenced for award progress panel
