To upload a QSO in any other mode, TQSL must be configured to map that mode to a mode that LotW does accept. Typically, the new mode is digital, in which case it should be mapped to DATA:
using Windows Explorer, open the file C:\Program Files\LOTW\TrustedQSL and double-click the application file tqsl; the TQSL window will appear
in the TQSL window, select the File:Display or Modify Preferences... menu item; the Preferences window will appear
in the Preferences window, select the ADIF Modes tab; in this tab,
click the Add... button
in the Add ADIF mode window
type the name of the new mode to be mapped into the ADIF Mode: box
in the Resulting TQSL mode box, click DATA
click the OK button to close the Add ADIF mode window
click the OK button to close the Preferences window
in the TQSL window, select the File:Exit TQSL menu item
If you wish to map the new mode to a mode other than DATA, then click on the desired mode in step 3.b.2 above.
If the mode in question is not present in DXKeeper's Mode selectors, you must add it. If the mode being added is a data mode that's valid for DXCC Digital Mode awards, be sure to specify DXCC_DIGI in the added entry as an Award Designator.
