Requesting or Acknowledging Confirmation on an Outgoing QSL Card or Label

Generated QSL cards contain a QSL? column that can be populated with Please! or Thanks!. Single QSL labels and 2-column QSL labels contain a QSL? column that can be populated with Pse! or Tnx!. DXKeeper will print pse QSL! or tnx QSL! along the bottom of the label if you enable the Include QSL Mgr & Pse/Tnx QSL option in the 3-column QSL Labels panel on the QSL Configuration window's QSL Labels tab.

Whether Please!/Pse! or Thanks!/Tnx! appears in a generated confirmation depends on two factors:

  1. whether or not the confirmation would advance your award progress
  2. whether or not the Outgoing QSLs request confirmation unless already confirmed option is enabled on the Configuration window's General tab

If confirmation would advance your award progress, the QSL? column will say please! on QSL cards, or pse! on QSL labels.

If the QSO has not been confirmed by your QSO partner and the Outgoing QSLs request confirmation unless already confirmed option is enabled, the QSL? column will say "please! on QSL cards, or pse! on QSL labels. If the QSO has been confirmed by your QSO partner, the QSL? column will say thanks! on QSL cards, or tnx! on QSL labels.
